Fuerteventura is known for its beaches but that’s not all the island has to offer. There are also some great spots to do some shopping while you are here, both to restock on essentials and look for something to take home with you.
Corralejo has a good variety of shopping areas, although prices are a little high due to the numbers of tourists it receives. There are supermarkets as well as shopping centres with C.C. Las Palmers being home to a number of brand chains commonly seen around the world. There’s also a weekly craft market on a Sunday in El Campanario.
Puerto del Rosario is another town with good shopping features including CC Las Rotondas, the largest shopping centre on the island. There are two floors filled with shops as well as a food court and large supermarket. For a taste of home, it is where the only Lidl on the island is found.
Caleta de Fuste also has a shopping centre, CC Atlantico. This is smaller than others but has some good clothing and jewellery shops. There’s a supermarket and a couple of weekly markets as well. There are a good range of smaller, local shops around the town.
Most of the larger towns across the island will have a weekly market and this is a brilliant place to buy souvenirs, unusual handmade items or just to enjoy browsing.
